I have a copy of the Jefferson County Online Gilmer Cemetery listing with your name listed as one of the contributors. It says that John Kirkpatrick is married to Jane Hope. I am trying to find proof of this to meet DAR standards. I have looked and looked at SC records with no avail. Tonight, I have spent the entire evening ( MY back is killing me from hours in this horrible chair!) going over Melton P Meek MD Nine Generations and Intermarriage Lineages of Adam Meek. He also states they were married, but it is not clear where he got his info either. Anyway, if you have any knowledge that would say Jane Hope was married to John Kirkpatrick. i.e. the source of where you got your information. I would have solved a year's worth of looking. Thank-you!! And I am so sorry it is to very cold for you. We had two weeks of smoke in the air, so we had to stay indoors. Extreme weather! Jane
