Lockridge Township Resident is Dead

Many friends in Lockridge township will regret to learn of the death of Mrs. Johnson, one of the best known of the older settlers of Jefferson county which occured this morning at the home of her son four miles north of Lockridge. Mrs. Johnson was about 90 years of age and had many friends in the vicinity. She is survived by several children. The funeral services will be held Friday afternoon. Short services being held at the home at one o'clock after which the remains will be taken to the Swedish M. E. church near Four Corners where the funeral will be held at two o’clock.
