A lot of the info I got from Ancestry.com and the other I got from Genealogical books of Jefferson County Iowa that I bought.

In 1820 census of Silver Creek Twp, Clark County In; I have Francis and Elizabeth. Have you checked for a family sheet for the McGuire family of Jefferson County? If there is one maybe it can clear up a lot of doubt. There was a McGuire family of Wapello County Iowa. Don't know if they were related. What are some of the children's names for Francis & Elizabeth besides James?

PS> My grandson is a Michael Robert Maguire. All McGuire's of any spelling decend from just one Maguire. Did you know that?
