Dear Verda,
My sincere apologies for not having responded. I somehow lost this forum and thought I would get an email when a response had been posted. I am still looking for Lefflers in Jefferson, possibly. Your information about the marriages and divorces does help, but I would still like the 6 family group sheets and marriage/divorce indexes you mentioned here. (I found 2 Leffler families in Locust Grove in 1850: both seem to be unmarried brothers at the time--one Jacob, Henry, Joseph, Peter and the other George, Henry, Joseph, Ann, Peter). With the cost of gasoline, what is your reimbursement for these now? I bookmarked this spot, and will check for your reply.
