W W Whisler married Emma Reppert on July l, l856
in Jefferson County Iowa.

There is NO divorce for them in Jefferson County.
And Assume he died about l869/ l870.
On 25 March l872 Mrs. Emma Reppert Whisler age 34
and Jacob Lemley age 44 took out a marriage
license, but marriage never happened as the return
was not listed in Jefferson County marriage record.
Are you sure there was a marriage in l9l5 when
W. W. would have been 85 years old?
Where do you find these individuals in l870 census
