Hi, Verda! It is nice to hear from you. No, I haven't and never will give up the search for my Warner/Warriner line.
Here is what I've found recently:
I found a Mrs. Angeolette Warner that married Elias Smith 8 Jan 1850. This was Mr. Smith's 2nd marriage too. This can be found in Jefferson Co. Now on the 1850 census for Jefferson Co., I found 2 Warner boys living with different families. One of the families was the Birdsell family. The interesting factor here is that the Birdsell's named a daughter, Angeolette. This makes me think that there may be a connection between Mrs. Warner-Smith and the boys. As soon as I find my notes on this I can give you the name of the boys, and the other family which has a Warner boy---I think it was a Smith family. Because of the time and the ages of the boys--abt 12, I can't dismiss the possibility of the Mr. Warner being a son of my William Warner. I would certainly like to find where William is buried in Jefferson Co......Also I think William and Margaret (Howard) Warner had a son named Ephraim and one named Sheron. Anyway, here is the latest find and I hope it will be of help to you also. All my best to you, Beth
