Thank you for your reply. Yes, the address is still the same. I live in the house my parents built and probably always will. I love it here.
I continue to dabble in my genealogy when time permits, I still work full time. I noticed that so many people listed Dabney's death as Galesburg and remembered a note about it in the Annals of Iowa, found it and posted it on my Ancestry page. It describes his death in Fairfield. My mother said she thought he might be buried in Glasgow Cem, but didn't know for sure. And yes, my sister and I got to visit the cemetery several years ago.
I happened upon on the Gage infor and just thought it would be neat to see what transpired.
