Hi Patty,
The cemetery you're looking for is the New Sweden Augustana Lutheran Cemetery.

We do show a burial there for Johones JOHNSON on the date you gave, and there is a gravestone for him.... at least there was in 1969 or so when the cemetery's stones were catalogued. His wife, Britta C., is on the stone with him. She died in 1894.

Our Research Assistant, Richard Thompson, has taken photos of thousands of local gravestones and posted them to the Iowa Gravestone Photo Project and to Find-A-Grave. At this point, neither site has a photo of Johones' stone. I'll let Richard know about your inquiry and see how he's able to help you further.
