Have you run a search on the Jefferson County website at http://www.rootsweb.com/~iajeffer/index.htm? You will get a number of hits on both of these surnames. It appears Illyria Ellen Welch is not buried in Abingdon Cemetery since that cemetery is listed but she does not come up on the search. Several Schooleys are listed there. There is family information on both family names on the shelves or files of the library in Fairfield. Verda Baird also may respond to this query some time next week. Right now she is tied up in harvest. She can track much of this down for you if you want.
