Enos C. POWELL & Catherine HARPER

I am trying to find out more information about Enos C. POWELL and Catherine HARPER, especially who their parents were.

I know they were living in Cedar Twp, Jefferson County, IA, in 1850. I believe they were married in Jefferson County on 11 September 1842 (I do not remember where I obtained that date from so I will need to verify it). I found a Enos Powell in Jefferson County in the 1840 census who I am assuming is the same Enos I am looking for.

According to census information Enos was born in Virginia about 1812 and Catherine was born in Ohio about 1818. There is a John Harper and his wife Rosiah(?) who are living close by according to the census and who are old enough to be Catherine's parents but I haven't been able to confirm this.

Enos and Catherine had the following children (all born in Jefferson County):

Elizabeth, born about 1842/43
William H., born about 1844
George, born about 1846
Rissia(?), born August 1850
James, born about 1853
Mary A., born about 1855
John L., born about 1859

Any help on this family would be greatly appreciated.
