I looked in the Fairfield Ledger microfilm records for an obituary for Lenora Ann Bushman Campbell and found no mention of her death nor an obituary - I looked through consecutive issues of three weeks and found nothing. The request for the obituary did not indicate if she actually died in Fairfield or Jefferson county, or had ties to this area that would result in an obituary being published.

The microfilm machine had the toner replaced on Wednesday by a library clerk and myself and the machine was able to print legible copies just fine. Yesterday I was out of town and did not use the machine. Today, the machine is failing to print copies at all - only blank pages result. A reset option was used, to no avail. If or when the machine will be operational again for printouts is uncertain as there is no service plan for it and piecemeal service calls are now $140 each. Whether or not the machine gets fixed is now a very open question due to major library funding cuts and no grant money for a new machine available.
