I am looking for information on Stanford Stives and his decendents. He was born 1805 in New Jersey but he later went to Fairfield, Jefferson Co., Iowa. He died 24 April 1871 possible in Fairfield. He may have had a son Benjamin who fought in the Civil War. I am a direct decendent of Sanford's brother Elisha. Any help would be appreciated. I may be reached at judyann_14715@yahoo.com.
