Go to the west edge of Martinsburg and take V41 south to Farson, then east on 165th street to Compentine Road. Compentine cemetery is just south on Compentine Road. The Wapello Co. map I have shows Compentine just south of the cemetery. There are a few building there but it isn't what you would call a town anymore. It is about a mile south of the Keokuk/Wapello County line and about a mile west of the Wapello/Jefferson County line.
