Peter Frasher was my Great Grandfather. He was born in Pennsylvania during the Thomas Jefferson adminitration. He married Margaret Chiolcote (the spelling I have had was Chilcot. Peter died in Wisconsin leaving Margaret with eight children and they moved to Jefferson County, Iowa. She is buried outside of Fairfield. His son George H., my grandfather, was a newspaper publisher of papers in Salina, Pleasant Plain, Brighton, Richland and Fairfield. His second wife, my grandmother, was Melvina (Viney) Baird, and I notice the name here, though I am unaware of any of her kinfolk. Any information?
