Bolwell family

BOLWELL JOHNSON DAVIS

I am wondering if anyone has pieced together the Bolwell family? The great information on this site has given me a running start, but I am wondering if the race has been run.

William Bolwell, husband of Elizabeth, both from England apparently settled a land claim around 1844 in the county. I am not sure who all their children were, but by looking at the probate documentation found on this site it would appear Ann, Jemima, Ruth, and Adam are contenders.

Jemima married Dorastus Johnson in 1844, and had 7 children, the first born in Iowa, the rest in California. The firstborn was Kara Azeka Johnson who married Hiram P. Tuttle.
