There are papers in the guardianship index in box 30 at courthouse declaring Delilah insane and noted same also in the l895 census records for Jefferson County Iowa.

What became of her other 4 children besdies Bertha

Do you know Alice Davison of Donnellson Iowa who was hunting Delilah who has no grave in Jefferson Co. This was in July 2006.

Verda, Jefferson County researcher, not relative.
