John H. Cottingham death record for 1854

John Cottingham
John T. Cottingham was born in 1820 in Nicholas County, KY. He and his brother, William Milton, went to IA in the mid-1840's and supposedly settled in Fairfield, IA. John had 4 kids. Was married to a Sarah Ploughe (Plue/Plough). He died in 1854. I have found him in the 1852 and 1854 Iowa census, but cannot find any information on his death and burial. Sarah is in the 1856 census of Polk TWP.
