I am looking for death/burial information on my greatgreat grandfather, Buis Ledford. Born 1799, Davidson Co. North Carolina. I find him on the 1870 U.S. Census for Penn Twp., Jefferson Co., Iowa. From thereon I am unable to locate him. Any information you have would be greatly appreciated. 1880 Census has his parents and sibblings of Decatur County Iowa. He may have died in either Jefferson or Decatur County Iowa. His parents were John & Catherine Ledford.
