Hello,

I am hoping you may be able to help me. I am looking for probate records from around 1852 -1860. My great grandfather, William Andrew Clark born April 21, 1849 in Ohio, was living with the John Young family in Locust Grove, Jefferson Co. from 1856 - 1860+. By 1870, William Clark was in Kansas City, living with John Young's wife and son. I don't know if William was adopted by the Young family or what. I thought maybe the probate records may show something. Also a will for John Young who may have died between 1860-1870 in Jefferson Co.
