Peter Cassel from Kisa gathered together relatives
and the group of 25 came to Iowa in l845. I have
an 11 x l4 chart listing those 25 people if you
would be interested. The name Dahlberg does NOT
appear on it whatsoever. Were they on the same
boat coming over?

In checking the l850 census, the Dahlberg name
does not appear on it in Jefferson County. Where
did the family move to? There are no Dahlberg
marriages recorded here, no deaths either.

Am sure if you read the data Bill Rathbun referred
you to on our web page, you found it fascinating.

Since they lived here, we would accept a family
sheet on Pehr and wife to add to our growing
collection. The last descendant of Peter Cassel
that lived in Fairfield passed away about two
years ago.
