Thanks for your reply. I couldn't find Jonas Anderson on the 1880 Census. His daughter (my great grandmother), Johanna, was married to John Peter Stead and they were living in Fairfield. His other daugher, Christina, was married to a Peterson and they lived in Batavia. His son, Andrew P. was living in Fairfield. I found Jonas and Anna on the 1870 Census in Lockridge. He owned 10 acres at Four Corners. Maybe Jonas died before Anna. Andrew's biography mentions his mother's death (year listed as 1870 but cemetery record says 1880) but nothing further about his father. I can't find the family on the 1860 Census anywhere. They arrived in Boston on 17 Aug 1857 on the ship Annie Kimball.
