My grandfather was a Frescoln, born in Chester County, PA or close by that county, somewhere around 1875. For some reason he changed his name, although was not estranged from his family (except perhaps his father). Our family is interested in reconstructing our family geneaology, and we do know there was a Leonard Frescoln - a musician in Phiadelphia. We also understand that someone in the family was a minister, but we do not know specifics ot even denomination. We also understand that some Frescoln was an ironmaster in Norristown, PA. Is there any connection that you might know of, either specifically or at least proximity?
