Needed some info and photo of A.R. Pierce...

Hi,
I am looking for any info on Abial Richmond Pierce, who was involved with Civil War Fourth Brigade, 4th Iowa Cavalry as a Major. His birth and death dates were: Jan 3, 1820 Maine - May 9, 1880 Iowa (died of gun shot wound). Lived near Lockridge.
I am a volunteer for the Mine Creek Battlefield State Historic Site, Kansas. I was asked by the supervisor to research for the officers of both side. A photo of the man or tombstone, a short bio, death date and burial site (Lockridge Cemetery).
Anyhow I would appreciate any info about A.R. Pierce...
