Keep in mind Jefferson County had no white settlers until about l836. It was Indian Territory.
There were two early Quaker churches, Pleasant Plain which had settlers from Salem in Henry County move up and the others were the Walnut Creek Friends group that came directly from Indiana. Hope this helps. There were none here earlier certainly not by l812 !!
