Bell Optician

WATSON, JONES, BELL, CARMAN, MILLS

I have been told by my father that his grandfather was an optician in Fairfield, Iowa. His name was clyde C. Bell. He located a pair of glasses with the case and on the case it says this:
Clyde C. Bell
graduate optician
Fairfield, Iowa

I was also told that he was involved politically in the community. Can anyone help me find out about Clyde Bell.
