Born Feb. 5, 1898, at Batavia, daughter of Frank and Melissa SHIPLER FISHEL; married Dec. 13, 1917. Survivors.....

Mrs. Carl WALKER
BATAVIA. -- Mrs. Carl WALKER, 60, of Cedar Rapids, died en route to a hospital there Sunday at 12:45 a.m. She had been in poor health several months.

She was born February 5, 1898, in Batavia, the daughter of Frank and Melissa SHIPLER FISHEL, and was reared in this community. She was married December 13, 1917 to Mr. WALKER, who survives. She was a member of the Methodist church. She had lived in Cedar Rapids 14 years.

Surviving besides her husband are three sisters, Mrs. L. L. LIPPS of Batavia, Mrs. D. E. FAGLE of Peoria, Ill., and Mrs. Jack SANDEN of Hemet, Calif., and two brothers, Gaylord and Clint FISHEL of Fairfield.

The casket will be taken from the Campbell funeral chapel here to the Methodist church Tuesday at 1 p.m. The service will be there at 2 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Earl Erb of West Chester, assisted by the Rev. Gordon Packard, the pastor. Burial will be in the Batavia cemetery.
