Sarah Ellen WALKER, born Logan County, Ill., Aug. 10, 1843, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Imo PAULIN at Pierson, Iowa, Feb. 11, 1927, age 83-6-1. Dec. 16, 1866, married James WALKER, four children. Husband died Apr. 14, 1899.

Children: Oscar WALKER of Remsen, Iowa; Mrs. Louis McKENZIE and Mrs. Imo PAULIN, Pierson, Iowa; and Will WALKER of Lauton, Iowa; 17 grandchildren, 22 grgrchn. Member Christian Church. Interment Batavia Cemetery.
