Died, at his home near Batavia, James WALKER, an old soldier -- 7th Ill, Inf., Co. H. - Pvt....

Born in Pickaway Co., Ohio, 27 Nov. 1836, and came to Illinois when he was five years old. Emigrated to Kansas in 1879, then came to Iowa in '95. Married Sarah DAVIS in Dec., 1866.

Four children, two boys and two girls who, with the wife and mother, are left to mourn....
