Obit. Susan KOONS WALKER, daughter of Dillon and Jemima (CALDWELL) KOONS, born Oct. 27, 1861, near Cross Lanes, Iowa; died at her home in Batavia May 10, 1932, age 71-6-10.

Sept. 12, 1883, married Michael WALKER who died July 5, 1892; three daughters: Mrs. S. C. GORMAN and Mrs. Bert GILTNER of Batavia, and Mrs. Eva WALKER who died 15 years ago.

Besides her two daughters, nine grandchildren and 4 grgrchn, she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Will RICHARDSON of Haigler, Nebr., and three brothers, John of Laramie, Wyo.; Allen and Henry of Batavia; two brothers and a sister preceded her in death, Davis, in 1930, George and Etta having died in infancy.

Except for four years that she and her family lived in Nebr., Mrs. WALKER spent her entire life in Jefferson Co.... Christian Church at Abingdon. Bur. Batavia.

(Note: Jemima CALDWELL KOONS may have been a granddaughter of a Revolutionary soldier Robert CALDWELL 1757-1840, bur. near Rushville, Ind.)
