Clyde G. SPARKS, 60, prominent lawyer in Jefferson County, at one time a member of the Iowa State legislature, died this morning in Ottumwa. Campbell Funeral Home at Batavia.

Came from Kansas with his parents when three years old. Began law practice in Eldon about 1903 and was elected to serve in the state legislature for Wapello County while living at Eldon....

Two sisters survive, Ella SPARKS of Batavia and Mary SPARKS of Chicago. Preceded by father, mother, one sister and two brothers.
