Effie Elizabeth SPARKS, 4th child of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew B. SPARKS, born at Batavia Jan. 23, 1868... died 29 Jan. 1931; leaves two sisters, Ella L. SPARKS of Batavia and Mary SPARKS of Chicago, and one brother Clyde of Batavia.

In compliance with her expressed wish she was buried at Bethel Cemetery west of Birmingham beside the graves of her maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. F. KILLEBREW....
