Obit. John D. SNIDER born Mar. 22, 1866, in Brookville, Jefferson County, Iowa, son of Wm. & Susanna SNIDER, died May 3, 1918, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, aged 52-1-11. Member of a family of eight sons and two daughters, all of whom with the aged mother survive, except one brother Wm. who preceded him in death some years ago and also the father.

Sept. 29, 1890, married Miss Cornelia BAKER then living in Fairfield, Iowa; eight children, two dying in infancy, and with the mother six children survive him.... M.E. Church. Brooks Cemetery west of Fairfield.
