Mrs. Christine ANDERSON, widow of Andrew ANDERSON (?), who died about 25 years ago, died this morning at her home 1 1/2 miles east of Batavia. Bur. Batavia.

Born in Sweden in Nov., 1842, and was 12 years old when she came with her parents to Jefferson County. She was employed at the Leggett Hotel at an early day and later at Ward LAMSON's. She was married at the LAMSON home.

Three children survive, Elmer, with whom she made her home on the old home place, Mrs. Warren COPELAND and Mrs. Robert FOREMAN; also seven grandchildren. Two children, Ralph and Ida, died in youth.
