ABINGDON. Allen PETERS, a former resident, died at his home Wed. Evening, two miles west of Batavia. The remains were buried in the Batavia cemetery.

Deceased was about 28 years old and leaves a wife, daughter, father and mother, three sisters, three brothers.... His father, J. R. , was unable to attend the funeral on account of severe sickness.
