BATAVIA. John PEDERSON, 76, native of Denmark, died Sun. at Jefferson County Hospital. Campbell Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Batavia Cemetery.

Born Aug. 4, 1895, in Sundby Mors, Denmark, son of Peter and Kristine PEDERSON, came to U.S. in 1916. Veteran of World War I, and had farmed in Jefferson and Van Buren Counties for a number of years. Had made his home in Batavia the past 11 years. Member Gospel Lighthouse Church.

Married Oct. 15, 1919, Pearl TUCKER who survives; also a son Paul, and a daughter Mrs. James NORTH, both of Batavia; five grandchildren, 3grgrchn, two brothers and four sisters. Preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
