Edward Mann PARRETT, son of David and Barbara PARROTT (sic), born in Washington Courthouse, Fayette Co., Ohio, Feb. 5, 1850. Died at his home near Batavia Nov. 1, 1920, aged 70-8-26.

His parents moved to Iowa in 1850 and settled on a farm 5 miles northeast of Batavia; he married Miss Laura CAMPBELL Mar. 19, 1879. Four children: Ross L., Emma Mabel, Amy L., and E. Roy.

Besides wife and children is survived by two brothers, Joseph PARROTT of Chillicothe, Iowa, and C.L. of Fairfield, Iowa.... Batavia Cemetery. Member Presby. Church at Cross Lanes and Kilwinning Lodge AF & AM No. 198 at Batavia....
