Death of the father of C. E. NELSON of Batavia. Jacob NELSON, 330 N. McLean St., old resident of Ottumwa, died there Mon. Father of the late Oscar B. NELSON, captain of the Oskaloosa Co. H, who was one of Ottumwa's war heroes and was killed while in service overseas. Mr. NELSON was 65.

Survived by wife Ingra, three sons, C.E. of Batavia; J.L. of Minneapolis, and A.V. of Ottumwa; and one brother Gus NELSON of Ottumwa. Employee of the Ottumwa Mill & Construction Co... Bur. Shaul Cemetery.
