Pauline A. WILLIAMS, daughter of W.H. and Julia WILLIAMS, born near Batavia in Wapello Co., Iowa, Oct. 25, 1846 and died at the home of her son Casper in Ottumwa Aug. 2, 1924 aged 77-9-7.

She and Jonathan HARRIS married in 1866; 10 children: Henry H. of Des Moines; Miranda and Edith of Seymor, Julia of Fork Pier, S.Dak.; Mary of Hedrick, Iowa; Robert and Leverett of Los Angeles, Calif.; Casper of Ottumwa, Iowa; Orval of Arizona, and Carol R. who died some 30 years ago. Husband and father died Jan. 10, 1920.

Survived by nine grandchildren and 36 grgrchn; four brothers and three sisters: R. P. WILLIAMS of Wayne, Neb.; Geo. D. of Oregon; W.A. of Calif.; Horace of Hedrick, Iowa; Mrs. Mary MOSS of Batavia, Iowa; Elizabeth NEEL of Seymour, Iowa; and Mrs. Eva BROWN of Creston, Iowa. Member Church of Christ.

Funeral services held from the Batavia Church, Rev. B. W. Pettit of Albia. Body placed in the receiving vault in Batavia Cemetery to await the arrival of a son (Leverett) who is speeding across the continent to look upon the dear face he has not seen for some 18 years.....
