Alfred GRAY, a resident of Polk Township for nearly half a century, and was among the early settlers in that portion of the county, died at his home two miles west of Abingdon the 13th inst., 78 years old. Reared a large family of children, all but one or two of whom have removed from the county. Aged wife survives. Remains interred at Batavia.
