Malissa K. (HOCKING) GOFF, born near Zanesville, Muskingum Co., Ohio, Jan 1, 1851.... When about 13 moved with her parents to Wapello County, Iowa, and settled on a farm west of Batavia; married Nov. 19, 1874.

Three children, two sons and one daughter: William Milton of Chillicothe, Iowa; Addie May MORRISON of Dillon, Mont., and George LeRoy of Batavia, Iowa.

Died at her home in the east part of Batavia Dec. 25 aged 66-11-25. Member M.E. Ch. Leaves husband, two sons, daughter, 12 grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers.
