PLEASANT PLAIN, Ia. -- Margaret M. KASKA, 80, former resident of Jefferson County, passed away Wednesday about 8 a.m. at her home in Stuart, Iowa. Her death was sudden.
Last rites will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. DST at the St. Joseph Catholic church in East Pleasant Plain with the Rev. Henry B. Geers in charge. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery.
The Rosary will be recited at the Gould Funeral Home in Brighton this evening at 8 p.m. DST.
Margaret M. KASKA was born August 11, 1884 in Jefferson county, the daughter of Joseph and Magdalene POHREN KASKA. She was reared and educated near East Pleasant Plain.
She had made her home at Stuart, Iowa, for the past 22 years. She was a member of the All Saints church at Stuart.
Surviving relatives include one brother, Frank KASKA, Brighton, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
