EAST PLEASANT PLAIN.

Joseph LEDGER (sic - LATCHER on his gravestone) of Wayland, Iowa, was buried in the new Catholic cemetery at this place Friday at 11 o'clock. Services were held from St. Joseph Catholic church by Rev. Father Walsh. Mr. LEDGER was born in Eschlzmatt (sic), Switzerland, Dec. 17, 1859, and died May 18, 1910. He was married to Miss Mary GLANZMAN Feb. 5, 1896. He leaves a wife and four children -- Pauline, Marie, Alfred and Frank.

Mr. and Mrs. Nick Glanzman of Mt. Pleasant and Mr. and Mrs. (sic - who?) of Libertyville were in town Friday attending the funeral of Jos. LEDGER.

Death of Joseph LEACHER (sic - LATCHER on his gravestone), a farmer living about four miles south of Wayland, Wed. of last week of Bright’s disease. Born at Escholzmatt, Switzerland Dec. 17, 1859, and was aged 50-5-1. Came to this country Mar. 29, 1892 and married Miss Mary A. GLANZMAN at the Germanville Catholic church Feb. 5, 1896 and lived on the farm where he died ever since. Leaves wife and four children, Pauline Marie, Alfred and Frank all at home. Funeral at St. Joseph’s church, East Pleasant Plain, on Friday...
