Samuel C. GILLIS of Batavia died Sunday in Ottumwa. A daughter, Mrs. Ross G. WALKER of this city died a year ago and his wife died in August. He was 76.

Father of H. Verne GILLIS of this city, and Mrs. Estelle BURNAUGH, 517 N. Jefferson, Ottumwa. Burial at Batavia.
