GARRETT, GORMAN, BEGEY, BERRIER

M. L. GARRETT, 81, one of Batavia's oldest citizens, died this morning at his home in Batavia, where he has resided the past six years following his retirement as a farmer.

Surviving are his widow, Eva; three sons: Floyd, Denver; Burdette, Granger, Mo.; and Leo, Batavia; and two daughters, Mrs. Cleo GORMAN, Burlington, and Mrs. Goldie BEGEY, Muscatine. One daughter, Mrs. Stephen BERRIER of north of Batavia, preceded him in death.

Mr. GARRETT was born in Kentucky, has lived in Batavia vicinity for the past 50 years. Campbell Funeral Home, Batavia.
