George W. FARMER, 69, lifetime resident of Jefferson County, died Fri. at Jefferson Co. Hospital. Bur. Batavia Cemetery.

Lived on a farm about 8 miles n.w. of Fairfield on RR2, Batavia. Born Oct. 17, 1895, in Jefferson County, son of James and Elizabeth Ann RODGERS FARMER; married Ruth McCLEARY June 30, 1915; member Modern Woodmen Lodge.

In addition to wife he is survived by two sons, Marvin FARMER, Batavia, and Roger FARMER, Fairfield; seven grandchildren; three sisters and three brothers: Elizabeth FARMER, Fairfield; Mrs. Ida GREEN, Sheridan, Wyo.; Ina FARMER, Minneapolis, Minn.; Sam FARMER, Fairfield; Harden FARMER, Lake Worth, Fla.; and Lou FARMER, Yakima, Wash. Preceded in death by one brother and a sister.
