Mrs. Ella May FANSHER, 88, died at her home in Batavia this morning. Bur. Batavia.

Born in Wapello County Aug. 8, 1862, daughter of Joseph and Emma CAMPBELL. Lived entire life in Wapello and Jefferson Counties. Married John FANSHER Oct. 21, 1885; he died in 1942. Batavia Methodist Church.

Survived by 26 direct living descendants, including four children, six grandchildren, 14 grgrchn and two grgrgrchn. They include four daughters, Mrs. Powel MORLEY, Mrs. Fritz NEHRE, Ottumwa; Lorena FANSHER, Batavia, and Mrs. Harvey LAUGHLIN, Ottumwa; three sisters and one brother also survive.
