George Robert DOVENSPIKE, born Keokuk County, Iowa, Apr. 13, 1870; died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Amanda WILSON at Batavia, Iowa, May 30, 1928, age 58-1-17; married Mary RAMBO 1903; wife died Apr. 2, 1928. Member Nazarene Church at Chariton, Iowa.

Leaves his mother, Mrs. Mahala DOVENSPIKE of Batavia, two sisters, Mrs. Amanda WILSON of Batavia, Iowa, and Mrs. Mildred LONG of Ivens, Iowa; one brother Fred of Libertyville, Iowa. Interment in the Batavia Cemetery.
