BATAVIA. SPO James R. DAVIS, USN, son of Mrs. Harvey WHITMORE, R.2, Batavia, died this morning at US Naval Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas.... A career Navy man, survived by wife and children; his mother, Mrs. WHITMORE, and two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Charlotte PRATT of Eldon, Mrs. Don EAKINS of Batavia; Larry DAVIS of Batavia, and Jerry DAVIS of Fairfield. Preceded in death by his father in 1954....
