Mrs. Ada C. CURTIS, 93, died Sat. at Ottumwa Manor. Raymond Funeral Home. Bur. Ashland Cemetery.

Born Feb. 9, 1878, Greensburg, Ky., dau. of John & Molly MOSS TRESENRITER; reared and educated in that community; married Arthur CURTIS Feb. 9, 1898, Farmers City, Illinois; he died 1918. Member Batavia Methodist Church.

Spent much of her life in Jefferson and Wapello Counties. Survived by children: E.J. and Leonard CURTIS, both of Fairfield; Lawrence CURTIS, Coarsgold, Calif.; Chester CURTIS, Batavia; Mrs. Bertha McNIEL, Agency; and Mrs. Naomi HUTTON, North Royalton, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, 34 grgrchn; one brother Willard TRESENRITER, Dinubia, Calif., and a sister Mrs. Nellie GATTY, Vallejo, Calif. Preceded by husband, two sons, three sisters, and a brother.
