Mrs. Sophronia Caroline COLVARD, 90, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. W. CALDWELL, East Madison St., this morning.... burial in Batavia Cemetery.

Born April 2, 1852, in Wilkes County, N.C. Had she lived until April 2, 1943, she would have been 91. Made her home with daughter and son in law, Mr. and Mrs. D. W. CALDWELL, past 18 years.

Survived by her daughter, Mrs. CALDWELL, and one son, Jess COLVARD of Milford, Michigan; 17 grandchildren and 12 grgrchn; also leaves one brother, J. J. ELLER of Opportunity, Washington. Her husband, Peyton COLVARD, preceded her in death Sept. 10, 1893.
